Air Traffic Control Officer

For those looking for a new challenge, Southend Airport is looking for a permanent new air traffic control officer to join them on their exciting journey into serving more than two million passengers.

With the opportunity to earn up to £100,000 in the first year, the airport is looking for experienced and qualified air traffic controllers who will be responsible for the safe, efficient and effective operation of air traffic control at Southend.

Air Traffic Control Assistant - Traineeship

Trainee air traffic control assistants are essential to work alongside the operational air traffic control officers, assisting and supporting them.

With pay of £20,600 per year, successful applicants will be fully trained and supported in all aspects, ultimately ensuring that all tasks undertaken adhere to relevant regulatory and company standards. 

The deadline for this role is also December 31 this year.

Food & Beverage Assistant - Part Time 12 hours per week

The successful applicant will "deliver a superior guest experience" across multiple restaurant, bar, café and lounge outlets throughout the Southend Airport terminal.

They will also ensure "efficient and safe" operation of all relevant equipment, high standards of cleanliness and demonstrate good stock management and rotation under team leader guidance.

This role will be 12 hours per week. The application deadline is May 31.

Food and Beverage Team Leader 20 hours per week

Earning £12.26 per hour,  an experienced food and beverage professional will be a "passionate, energetic and self-motivated" team leader with the ability to demonstrate initiative and to react with pace to daily business requirements. 

Working under the guidance of the F&B general manager and the F&B assistant manager, the successful applicant will be "key in the delivery of the highest levels of guest satisfaction, operational effectiveness and driving revenue growth".

Sous Chef (2nd Chef) - Part time 20 hours per week

As the sous chef, the successful applicant will work under the supervision of the F&B management team and the chef, assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.

They will be responsible for overseeing kitchen staff, managing food production, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment that we are proud of.
