POLICE have issued an appeal for the public's help to find a Basildon schoolboy who has been reported missing.
Officers are worried about Telaqwon Kamara, 14, who is missing from Basildon, and are appealing for help to make sure he is okay.
Telaqwon is described as black, around 5ft 7 ins tall, has short dark hair and is of slim build.
When he was last seen he was wearing his school uniform – a black blazer, a white shirt with a tie – as well as a black padded jacket and black shoes.
Anyone who has seen the young boy or has any information as to his whereabouts is urged to call 999.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We’re worried about him and need to find him to make sure he’s ok.
"If you’ve seen him, or have any information as to his whereabouts, please call us on 999 quoting incident 0044 of 15 May."
