It's the owners who should care, not the Police, after all tis why you have insurance, the police will log it, but it's not their job to care.

Nonsense we all should care. We all pay extra in premiums because of claims. This sort of vandalism makes me sick. Personally if caught I would make them pay double the cost of the damage they caused and 200 hours community service picking up litter and dog poo.

If they did that to my car, I would definetly go alot further then that.

Why should we all care ?? if yobs go out for fun, smashing up cars, let the owners care, it's nobody else's business to care, though the parents of the yobs no doubt taught them to swear.

WHO WILL AGREE ?

How about making this charge and sentence carrying a minimum of 5 years with NO parole.. Now I would say this will eradicate this crime by 99%.

I suppose the do-gooders will scream "human rights"

I tend to keep my cars, off the road, within the boundaries of my property, though I realise the utter frustration, it must cause to have this wanton vandalism affecting your life.
However, it is a one off, a bit of high jinks, from some active youngsters, and you must always allow for that, it's called, living in a society.

Wanton vandalism - yes, but is this the big news story of the day? It's happening every day of the week! I have a vested interest as I have just replaced my daughter's car mirror after it was vandalised whilst parked. Also noticed today that my car has those tell tale scratch marks on the door suggesting that somebody has been none too careful when getting into their car when my wife went shopping.
That's life isn't it, but I don't much like it!

no doubt a few young lads of otherwise good behaviour and from good local stock, as describes the typical billericay inhabitant....... to them some minor damage to a few wing mirrors probably felt like pulling off the great train robbery......
