Echo: Police appeal over stolen whiskey Police appeal over stolen whiskey

POLICE want to speak to these men following a theft from a Co-Op in Leigh.

Between 4.30pm and 5pm on December 18, 2013, two men entered the Leigh Road store, selected three bottles of Jack Daniel's whiskey and left making no attempt to pay.

Anyone who can identify the men pictured should contact Pc Collette Hallett at Leigh police station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Whisky without the e is used for Scotch, but Whiskey with the e is reserved for the Irish and American liquors, so in this case the grammar is correct.

Seems this Coop has had a lot of thief as this not the first time pictures of people have been in the Echo asking for help. Either they need better security and HD cameras or move things around to make it more difficult for somebody to just walk out.
