Dogs kennels catches fire
PART of a dogs kennels has caught fire.
Novem Kennels, just off the A127 in North Benfleet, caught fire just before 5.40pm this evening.
When two crews from Rayleigh arrived they found the detached property was 25 per cent alight.
They used two hose reels to tackle the blaze for about 45 minutes.
The owners had already left the building before crews arrived and no one was injured.
Fire fighters used a high pressure fan to clear the building of smoke.
Drivers were stuck on the A127 for about half an hour while fire crews tackled the blaze.
