A WOMAN has been cut from her car after a two car collision at a major roundabout.

Broadmayne is partially blocked at the junction with Upper Mayne after the crash between a blue Vauxhaull Corsa and a Vauxhall Vectra at about 2.30pm this afternoon.

Fire fighters from two Basildon crews spent 40 minutes cutting a woman in her 50s from her car after she sustained neck injuries. Her injuries are not thought to be serious but it is believed she will be taken to Basildon Hospital as a precaution.

A man in his 20s was shaken but not injured.
