A brilliant defensive show by Rocks has seen them pick up a point against Maidstone. Stephen and Sheehan outstanding.
Final score! Maidstone United 1-1 East Thurrock United
Watt clatters into Peddie and Rocks have a freekick. Seconds to go.
Stephen is finally beaten by Hughes-Mason and he is booked for a cynical foul.
What a goalmouth scramble! The ball drops to Cox of all people and the keeper pushes the ball to safety! Wonderful defending!
Freekick to Maidstone 40 yards from goal. Collin takes and it takes a nick of an East Thurrock head for a corner.
Four minutes added on!
Last Rocks substitution: Smith is replaced by Neil Richmond
Harris' shot is saved well by Hughes and the follow up rolls agonisingly along the line before being cleared.
Home side turning up the pressure now!
Zac Attwood turns on a six pence and smashes past the dive of Hughes. It is a deserved goal.
It's a goal for Maidstone!
Watt gets up well at the far post but his header goes over.
Stephen does brilliantly to clear away from Hughes-Mason! The Stones have a corner!
Five minutes plus injury time to go. Higgins' goal seems a Long time ago now!
It's 'anywhere will do' for Rocks now. Smith still posing a threat on the counter though.
East Thurrock substitution: Lechmere is replaced by Connor Witherspoon.
Sheehan clears the ball from in front of his keeper and to safety. The referee is having a word with Flisher for rushing to put the ball on the spot for Hughes. No cards issued.
Maidstone win another throw very deep in the Rocks half. The keeper flaps at the ball before it is cleared.
Maidstone substitution: Dan Parkinson replaces Michael Phillips
His deep cross almost finds Watt but it's cleared. Then, from the throw, the ball drops to Watt five yards out and his first shot is spectacularly blocked by Lechmere on the line. The follow up shot hits the post and the third goes over! Amazing! Lechmere receiving treatment.
Freekick to Maidstone 30 yards out. Collin over the ball.
Smith jinks past his man and plays in Bryant. The wingman can shoot but he chooses to square the ball to Higgins who shoots high and wide. That was a real chance.
This is unbelievable defending by Stephen. The ball is played through to Attwood and he shoots at an unguarded goal. Stephen appears from nowhere to block spectacularly and Hughes clears.
The ball drops to Smith but his swerving shot is into the side netting.
Really nice feet from Lewis Smith gains Rocks 30 yards and a throw in by the corner flag.
Stephen has dealt well with the threat of Hughes-Mason.
Rocks are 20 minutes away from a famous victory although I daresay the home side will have a few more chances before then!
Maidstone substitution: Sobers is replaced by Steve Watt. The club captain return after a long spell out.
The ball is rolled back to Flisher but his shot goes inches wide! So close for Stones!
A slashed clearance by Stephen drops to Sammons who takes a touch before the ball is picked up by Hughes. A clear back pass! Freekick metres from goal!
Maidstone have moved to a 4-3-3 it appears. Attwood shoots but his drive is spectacularly blocked by Peddie! Heroic defending!
Higgins playa a wonderful ball through to Bryant and he drills a shot straight at Worgan - who pushes it behind. The corner is cleared by Sobers.
Collin has to score! The substitute takes a touch and prods the ball beyond the keeper but agonisingly, for Maidstone, past the far post. Not sure how this match has only seen one goal.
Smith does well to find space on the left. He cuts inside and attempts to bend the ball into the far corner but the ball drifts wide. The forward claps his hands in frustration.
Maidstone substitution: Collin replaces Robertson.
Header by Attwood almost finds the far corner but it is blocked for another corner. This time the ball drops for Harris and his header crashes off the crossbar and out!
Robertson is receiving treatment after a late challenge. Frannie Collin is preparing to join the action.
Bryant pressurises Worgan as he waits for the ball to drop for him in the penalty area. He just about gets away with it.
Neither side able to take control early in the second half. A lot of head tennis has not done anything to ease the home fans unrest.
Great chance for Bryant! A defensive mix up sees Sammons cross fall to the substitute. He takes one touch and shoots but his shot is blocked away. The resulting corner is cleared.
Hughes-Mason was a tricky customer as the first half wore on. Stephen will need to watch out for him.
Higgins and Smith get us underway for the second half.
Lewis Smith is changing his boots at half time. Rocks haven't had any trouble at all acclimatising to the 3G pitch.
A few Maidstone fans seem to have enjoyed zorb football more than their sides's performance so far. Looks like great fun.
Zorb football is the half time entertainment. The idea is people inside big bubbles, running into each other, whilst trying to score in miniature goals. Don't think there is much more too it!
Other HT scores:
Ryman Premier League
Billericay Town 1-1 Cray Wanderers
Canvey 0-0 Margate
Grays 1-2 Hampton
Ryman North League
Waltham Abbey 0-1 Thurrock
Ware 0-1 Aveley
Barkingside 1-0 Tilbury
Maidstone United 0-1 East Thurrock United
Brilliant block by Peddie stops Attwood at the near post. Corner before the break to the home side but it is well cleared by Stephen.
Two minutes added on at the end of the first period.
As the first half draws to a close East Thurrock can be very happy with their performance. They have contained the home side well and look dangerous on the counter. Maidstone have 45 minutes to save this unbeaten home record this season.
The early ball over the top for Higgins is a great out ball for Rocks. Not quite worked in the past 15 minutes though as Maidstone have had the lions share of possession.
Harris shoots but the linesman raises his flag for offside.
1,731 inside the stadium this afternoon.
The away side have been looking brighter in the last five minutes. Tenacious work up front by Higgins and Smith almost works an opening but Sobers clears.
East Thurrock substitution: Gilbey off and Dvid Bryant on. Not sure what is wrong with Gilbey.
Really good play by Cox almost finds Harris but the keeper pushes clear and Sammons completes the clearance.
Flisher feeds the ball down the left for Hughes-Mason. The tricky winger has a free run, cutting inside and feeding the ball back to Flisher. The striker hits a shot but a combination of Hughes, Sheehan and his own man Attwood keep the ball out!
Stephen is ok and playing on. Decent long range strike from Lechmere is held by Worgan but Rocks are struggling to get out at the moment.
Robertson flies in very hard on Stephen although the ball was there to be won. The full back is receiving treatment and we have a chance to have a breather after a hectic first 30 minutes!
It should be 1-1. The largely anonymous Hughes-Mason does well down the left and his cutback finds the marauding Mills. The fullback makes it into the box and shoots but his near post effort flies wide when he had to hit the target.
Parkinson with a shot from the edge of the box but Stephen blocks the shot and it rolls through to Hughes. The home side have woken up.
Mills now wins a corner for Maidstone. It finds Sobers and his header crashes off the underside of the crossbar and out! From my high vantage point a lot of the ball looked over the line..! Not given.
Really good first time ball from Stephen is well collected by Worgan - who was under pressure from Higgins.
It's very quiet at the Gallagher Stadium. Gilbey has a header easily saved. Home side can't get the ball at the moment.
Really poor delivery. Blocked away. Maidstone haven't got started today.
This is one of the bet first 15 minutes from a Thurrock side I have seen all season. Rocks look dangerous with every attack. They now have a freekick on the left. Smith standing over it.
So nearly two! A long ball by Sammons drifts towards the far post. The keeper totally misses it and Higgins is there! His header is destined for the net but Parkinson clears from under his crossbar! Brilliant defending!
A long range shot by Flisher is easily held by Hughes. The home side seem to be rushing their play. Rocks looking very measured in their build-up.
Harris is looking to dictate the play up front for Stones but the big striker is being well marshalled by Sheehan.
Gilbey goes down in the box under the challenge of Parkinson but nothing given. Seconds later Symons almost gets on the end of a Gilbey shot but the keeper blocks well. Rocks cranking up the pressure. Covo will be delighted with his sides's start.
Rocks look dangerous on the break. Really good hold up play by Higgins sees Smith break through. He feeds the ball to the left and Gilbey but the wide man's shot is blocked.
Lechmere with a looping effort for Rocks but the keeper holds the ball. Home fans already slightly restless
The game was only three minutes old when Higgins scored. Meanwhile, Stones look to hit back immediately as Attwood wins. Freekick on the left. Ball is claimed well by Hughes.
What an unbelievable start. Higgins was played through and it looked as though the chance had gone after he scuffed his shot into the ground. however, he kept on running and nodded the ball past the on rushing Worgan! Great goal!
It's a goal for East Thurrock!!
Great early play by Attwood. He cuts inside Stephen, beats Peddie and his cut back in cleared.
Positive start from the away side who win possession straight away but the near post delivery by Stephen is cleared.
Maidstone to get us underway this afternoon.
Teams are out. Maidstone in yellow and black and East Thurrock in their changed strip of black and white stripes.
GOAL: BARKINGSIDE 1-0 Tilbury - steve carvell (4') http://t.co/V3aVnGdjLG— @tilburyfc 29 March 2014
Phillips and Flisher are in the side after being sent off last weekend against Hornchurch.
Both sides have been out on the pitch warming up before the delayed kick off. Interesting to see top scorer Collin on the bench for Stones. I have been reliably informed the front man is recovering from an injury.
Kick off has been delayed until 3:15 as the lineman is replaced.
Massive crowd here today! Stadium announcer has just told the audience that the assistant referee is injured and is asking for a replacement!

Good afternoon and welcome to the Echo's live coverage of this Ryman Premier League match between Maidstone United and East Thurrock United.
This match comes only 11 days after the two sides met at Rookery Hill, with Rocks taking the three points in a 3-1 win.
However, today's match is likely to be quite different with East Thurrock looking to become the first side this season to win at The Gallagher Stadium and the league's only 3G pitch.
Maidstone United have been in the news this week after the club announced it would be appealing the FA's decision to ban them from taking part in the play-offs - ruling Stones couldn't be promoted on their artificial pitch. The side, currently 3rd in the division, will see their appeal heard on Wednesday.
Both sides come into the match in patchy form. Rocks have won four and lost four of their last eight games whilst Maidstone have only won one of their seven matches this month.
Both sides have a fearsome strike force and if Frannie Collin and Zac Attwood have their shooting boots on today this could be a long afternoon for Rocks. The two front men have 46 goals between them this season.
The away side will be buoyed by the form of Sam Higgins - who became the club's all time top scorer last weekend - and he will be ably supported by David Bryant, Lewis Smith and Neil Richmond.
