CASTLE Point residents are being urged to make sure they’re registered to vote ahead of next month’s elections.
Nearly 67,000 people are registered to vote in the borough but anyone not on the electoral register will be unable to go to the polls for the borough and European elections on May 22.
The deadline to register to vote is Tuesday May 6.
If you require a postal vote the deadline is Wednesday May 7 and if you are not going to be able to get to a Polling Station you can request a proxy vote by registering before May 14.
For more information contact the electoral services team on 01268 882417 or 01268 882402 or visit www.aboutmyvote.co.uk
