Whether it’s axe throwing, archery, crafts or live music there really is something for all the family at this year’s event, organised by Rochford District Council, on Saturday, June 7.

For the 11th year running Hockley Woods will be hosting the much anticipated event and will come alive with fun activities and stalls galore, from old favourites like the climbing wall and geocaching along with some brand new pursuits for families to enjoy.

The day runs from 11am to 4pm and visit with a pop-up market in the woods selling recycled and up-cycled goods as well as fresh local produce.

You will also have the chance to join Nordic Walkers, one of the council’s newest activities, and meet the Wild Woods mascot, Max the Dragon.

For refreshments you can work up a thirst by stopping by the bicycle smoothie maker, hopping on and blitzing up your own drink.

More traditional catering outlets will be on offer, with a refreshments van, hog roast and fresh Italian coffee stand.
