A MAN ended up with a broken jaw after an assault at a nightclub.

Detectives are trying to establish a description of the attacker at Chameleon nightclub in Lucy Road, Southend on May 18 and have appealed to all revellers at the club that night to get in touch with police.

The unknown attacker, of no description, punched a 26-year-old man from East London from behind, causing him to fall to the ground and break his jaw.

It was the same evening a 30-person brawl broke out inside Bar Bluu in Talk nightclub on the same street.

Anyone who was at the club that night is urged to contact Paul Gutteridge at Southend CID on 101 or email3616@essex.pnn.police.uk.

Why are they soo bothered about this one??? So a load of lads on a night out from East London get in a ruck, get arrested and released without charge, who cares ? I suspect someone (or people) originally detained are part of something bigger.
