A MAN is wanted in connection to a nightclub attack that left a reveller in hospital.
Police want to speak to this man in connection with an assault at bar, restaurant and nightclub Churchills, in Tylers Avenue, Southend.
A 25-year-old was walking away from the dancefloor when he was lunched several times in the head.
Investigating officer, PC Martin Thacker, said: "The man was taken out to the lobby where he fell unconscious.
“He was then taken to the local hospital and treated for several hours.
“The man pictured in the CCTV was also seen outside the club. We want to identify him and speak to him to see if he can be eliminated from our enquiries.
“He could live locally so we would ask people to contact us if they are a loved one, work colleague or a friend.”
The attack happened overnight from Friday, March 14, to Saturday, March 15.
The victim is now recovering at home.
Anyone who knows the identity of the man pictured is urged to contact the Neighbourhood Crime Team at Southend police station on 101.
