A MAN and a 16-year-old boy are facing a trial later this year accused of allegedly stabbing a man at his Maldon home.
Michael Cooper, 27, and the teenager both denied charges of wounding with intent when they made a brief appearance at Chelmsford Crown Court yesterday.
Cooper, who lives on Thorney Bay Village, a caravan park in Thorney Bay Road, Canvey, and the boy, from Westcliff, will return to court for their trial in October.
The teenager cannot be named for legal reasons.
The two are alleged to have wounded 42-year-old Justin Widdowfield at his home in St Peter’s Avenue, Maldon, on March 17.
