A CANVEY girl performed at this year’s Castle Point Show.
Folk singer Chantelle Pasquale took to the stage at the event on Sunday.
The 19-year-old will also be performing at the Canvey Island Carnival Festival, on Saturday, July 12, at Labworth Cafe Field, from 2.15pm, and at D’Ukes Fest at the Queen’s theatre, Hornchurch, on Saturday, July 26.
The former Castle View schoolgirl said: “I’m really excited to be able to perform at the event along with great line-ups.
“I’ll be singing a couple of my own songs and some covers. I just want to show everyone what I’m made of. All I want to be is a professional singer, and hopefully this is a step in the right direction for me.
“I have been a singer as long as I can remember. I performed all the time in front of family and always seemed to know the words to every song.”
