Christopher Levon, 43, of Merrylands, Laindon, admitted drink driving. He drove a blue Renault Scenic in Cranes Farm Road, Basildon, on June 1, after consuming alcohol that showed there was 75 mcgms per 100 mltres of it in his breath. The legal limit is 35 mcgms. He was banned from driving for 18 months, fined £110, ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

Alfie Riggs, 20, of The Hyde, Langdon Hills, admitted theft. He stole a case of beer worth £24 from the One Stop Store in Basildon on July 6. He was fined £100, ordered to pay £24 compensation, £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

Michelle Kelly, 29, of Mellow Purgess Close, Laindon, was found guilty of assault. She assaulted Lesley Martinez in Basildon on August 24, 2013. She was handed a community order with a three-month curfew, ordered to pay £50 compensation, £60 victim surcharge and £150 court costs.

Jon Braiser, 28, of Briscoe Road, Pitsea, was found guilty of fare dodging. He failed to hand over a valid ticket after travelling between Fenchurch Street and Pitsea on March 5. He was fined £100, odered to pay £6.95 compensation, £20 victim surcharge and £65 court costs.

Ollie Downham, 19, of Great Ranton, Pitsea, was found guilty of fare dodging. He failed to hand over a valid ticket after travelling between Laindon and Pitsea on March 5. He was fined £28, ordered to pay £3.40 compensation, a victim surcharge of £20 and £30 court costs.

Steven Aughterlony, 29, of Tavistock Road, Laindon, admitted theft and breaking an Asbo. On January 24 he stole two packs of meat worth £5 from Iceland. On February 2 he was found with drugs paraphenalia, which he was prohibited from having by an antisocial behaviour order. He was jailed for 12 weeks, ordered to pay £50 compensation, £80 victim surcharge and £62 court costs.

David Keeble, 38, of Hockley Green, Basildon, admitted stealing electricity. On May 20 he caused an unknown quantity of electricity to be wasted or diverted. He was handed a community order with the requirement to do 120 hours unpaid work. He was ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge and £40 court costs.

William Potter, 46, of Wilson Court, Wickford, admitted being drunk and disorderly. He was arrested at Wickford railway station on May 27. Potter was fined £73 and ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge.

Laura Demetriou, 30, of New Waverley Road, Basildon, admitted drink driving. On May 29 she drove a Chrysler Voyager in Lower Street, Noak Bridge with 90 mcgms of alcohol in her breath per 100ml. The legal limit is 35 mcgms. She was fined £190, ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. She was banned for 22 months.
