Phone lines down at Castle Point Council following power cut
A POWER cut left Castle Point Council without phones this morning.
The council offices, on Kiln Road, Benfleet suffered a power cut shortly after 9am.
A statement on the council’s website said: “We are experiencing a issue with our phones after having had a power outage. Please bear with us as we rectify the issue.
“Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.”
Power was restored by 11am.
