A POTHOLE has closed a road in Billericay.

Norsey Road in Billericay is closed in both directions.

Police were called shortly after 1pm, following reports of a large pot hole.

The Highways Agency closed the road and are now dealing with the incident.

The closure is causing slow traffic between the St Andrews Drive junction and the Crown Road junction.

Is it the only pothole in Billericay?

If they closed every road in Basildon where there's a pothole only roads that Councillors live down would be open......

I just hope that there'll be some form of counselling available for the beleaguered people of Billericay- It must be like living on the Gaza strip.

Wrong. There are potholes all over the place in Basildon, regardless of who lives there.

A Billericay postcode always ensures things take priority. You should know that.

Have you done a survey of roads councillors live down then?

However, I agree with the comment about Basildon. Absolutely right, if they closed every road in Basildon that had a large pothole, the place would be gridlocked.

But we all know that Basildon has been the poor relation for a long time.

But the times, they are a changin' ....

Utter rubbish, the only council facilitirs in billericay are the library and the park. Basildon has numerous community centres, parks, libraries the sports centres.
