TALENTED youngsters have danced their way into the finals of a TV dance competition.
India Maynard-Cooney, 11, and Alice Routledge, 13, will be strutting their stuff as members of street dance crew IMD Legion in tonight‘s live final of Sky’s Got To Dance competition.
Members range from nine to 18 years old.
India said: “We are all so excited and happy to have got through.
“I’m over the moon as we all trained so hard.”
Alice’s mum, Jenny, 42, added: “You have no idea how proud I am.
“We are just over the moon.
“If people thought the semi-finals were amazing, wait until you see the final dance routine.”
IMD Legion are mentored by Kimberly Wyatt, an ex Pussycat Doll, and tonight will complete against eight other acts.
They are grabbing any spare moment they can to rehearse for the final, rehearsing in the hotel, outside and inbetween media interviews.
Omar Ansah-Awuahlater, choreographer of IMD Legion, said: “Getting through to the finals is brilliant, but we are so scared.
“We set the bar for ourselves every time we perform and have to beat it each time.
“People forget these are just kids, young kids at that.
“Both girls did amazing and as it was their first time performing on stage doing a live perform – they did brilliantly.
“It was tough and all our nerves are rattling.”
Watch India and Alice live on Sky 1 in the final tonight at 6.30pm.
