Shows how well the services from the airport normally run on time, when an odd late arrival makes the newspapers.

this is transport Armageddon! I'm flying to Amsterdam in October, I hope these delays are resolved by then.

It is slightly confusing. For clarification...as a general rule whatever time the flights depart Schiphol is when they arrive at Southend, because of the time differences. So a flight that was due to arrive at 09.55, normally takes off from Schiphol at 09.55am. So if it is due to depart at 10.25am, then it will arrive roughly about the same time of 10.25am (GMT).
What IS confusing is the error of a second use of "from" when is should say "to". Tis basic English language and grammar...and research. These are things that the Echo are not very good at.

This article gets full jayman approval for both newsworthiness and restraint .

Firstly, there seems to be an element of news here all be it very small and relating to a minor travel inconvenience.

Secondly. there is a complete absence of southend airport logo, three paragraphs of weasel words which honey the airports reputation or a quote from the airports MD to say its not his/airports fault and/or takes all the credit for any positive outcomes (circle as appropriate)..

well done echo. ***** :)

Jayman, who is the airport MD at the moment, a genuine question, thanks in advance.
