Thousands lined the streets of Southend this afternoon as the Blues proudly showed off their silverware from Saturday's dramatic game.
In scenes no-one expected until Joe Piggott steered into the onion bag right at the death of the game, the club laid on an open top bus tour to celebrate the victory at Wembley in the League Two play-off final.
The last stop on the tour was Western Esplande and Marine Parade, with thousands of shrimpers making their voice heard as the cheered the triumphant players' efforts.
