A BUSY roundabout is blocked after a van flipped over onto its side.
The accident took place at the Pipps Hill roundabout, Basildon, at the junction of the A176 and the London-bound A127, at around 5.20pm.
Queues are building up in the area.
Corrina Brown, who lives in nearby Sandringham Road, was caught in traffic after the accident.
She said: "I saw a van on its side with its windows smashed and two other cars had been turned round the other way.
"The whole section of road was closed and traffic is backing up to Basildon town centre.
"There were also police cars and an ambulance there."
