CHILDREN at a Rochford nursery were treated to a very special drama session in a bid to introduce them to the arts.
Wishing Well Day Nursery, of The Boulevard, Rochford, invited drama teachers Laura Hurrell and Jeni-Anna Young, from the Stagecoach Performing Arts School, in Southend, to teach a 40-minute creative drama session to the children.
At the end of the event the children showed their parents what they had learnt.
Sachia Prince, nursery manager, said the event was very successful.
Discussing the nursery’s plans she said: “Wishing Well Day Nursery have created a children’s theatre cabin in the hope to encourage young children into “the arts”.
“The main aim is to develop children’s personal, social and emotional skills.”
