Don't forget to register to vote
TODAY is the last day to register to vote in the general elections, a council has reminded residents.
On its website, Basildon Council has urged residents to register via gov.uk/register-to-vote
Polling day for the UK Parliamentary election is Thursday, June 8, between 7am and 10pm.
The deadline for new applications to vote by post is 5pm tomorrow.
