SINGER turned reality TV star Kerry Katona will be appearing at Mayhem nightclub tomorrow.
The former member of girl group Atomic Kitten is hosting the Southend club’s summer Sendoff Party, which is giving away holidays to four lucky clubbers.
The night is a celebration of the party scene currently hotting up in Ayia Napa, Ibiza, Zante and Malia, and the winners will get to choose which clubbing haven they want to visit.
Katona, a regular in glossy magazines and tabloid newspapers, will be in charge of the draw and presenting the prizes.
“Love or hate her, she is one of the most popular girls in the press,” says Gav Lloyd, promotions manager at Mayhem.
“She will be an intriguing appearance, and I think people will be coming down to see what she is like.”
The star, who won 2004’s reality TV show I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, is the subject of her own real-life documentary, Kerry Katona: Crazy in Love, which airs on MTV.
There is even the possibility the cameras will be following her down to the club, in Warrior Square, to film her in action.
Resident DJs Darren Dangerfield, Tom Costello and Sarah B will deliver a mix of commercial dance, R‘n’B and hip-hop tunes.
Entry is £5 before 10.30pm and £7 after. Doors open at 9pm.
