IT’S always party time for the kids at Partyman World of Play, but this week the Basildon kids’ play zone has been letting off a few streamers on its own account.
The business, founded by entertainer James Sinclair, aka Jimbo, is celebrating two new projects.
First off, this week Partyman just launched its first party shop, a 2,500sq.ft. retail unit at the front of the play area.
The unit aims to create a one-stop shop for kids’ parties.
As well as standard items such as balloons, and party bags, it also offers fancy dress and cakes.
“This is the latest stage in our development of a business that aims to take in every aspect of children’s entertainment and partying, said James.
“We’ve been going for ten years now, built three playcentres, and a nursery, and performed at over five thousand parties.
“We’ve been dreaming of adding a shop to that list for a long time.”
The expansion of the Partyman Company moves a stage further in April with the announcement of the organisation’s first full-scale theatre presentation.
Jimbo will star live on stage at the Thameside Theatre in Thurrock in a family show timed to co-incide with the school holiday.
