Luke sings for the hospice

TALENTED young singer Luke Thornton is using his voice to raise money for Fair Havens Hospice.

Luke, 13, an Eastwood School pupil, has been singing in competitions for years.

Last weekend he entered three singing classes at the Stratford and East London Festival and won all three.

On Sunday, he sang at the Basingstoke Festival and again won all four classes.

Now the talented teenager is offering to sing at weddings and the money he raises will go to Fair Havens.

His mum Billie Thornton, of Tudor Gardens, Leigh, said: "For someone so young to do something like this is amazing.

"He has won so many competitions and just said he wanted to do something to help a good cause."
