We found treatment to help our James

LIFE for any family with a young baby is tiring, but for us it was even more so.
Our son James was diagnosed with asthma at the age of two months and he'd be up every night coughing and wheezing. There were several occasions where we'd be sat up with him in the bathroom with the shower on, trying to clear his chest. He always had a runny nose and also suffered from eczema, which he would scratch until his skin was bleeding.
We've got three other children and it was taking its toll on us all. That all changed the day we discovered the Bowen Technique.
My husband's gran had been visiting family in Plymouth, when someone suggested she should try the Bowen Technique for trouble she was having with her leg. The technique, a complementary therapy, involves the therapist making gentle rolling movements over muscles and tendons at precise points. This is said to help trigger the body's own healing systems.
While she was there she mentioned James and how poorly he was, and the therapist said they knew a lady back here in Essex that treated children.
We thought we've got nothing to lose and at that stage would have tried anything. So when James was 17 months, we went to see Rosemary Cunningham at her clinic in Benfleet.
I wasn't prepared for the kind of effect it had. In fact I was left speechless when after his first appointment, which only lasted 10 minutes, I noticed a change.
The cough practically disappeared over night, and soon everyone I met noticed and commented on the improvement and the increase in his energy.
He had been using his facial pump four times a day, but after a couple of treatments he didn't need it at all. He's still got an asthma pump, but in the last two years he's only had to use it once. That's quite a difference!
As for the rest of us, we can all sleep now, which is nice. We've all got more energy and are able to go camping again, something we couldn't do before because of the effect the damp would have on James' asthma.
James is a typical little boy now. He's always running around, climbing, playing football. We're absolutely delighted.
