No, this is nothing to do with Logan's Run - completely different, but just as compelling as you try to discover who and why a myriad of third world villages are being systematically being wiped out.

You are once more Gabe Logan with a job to do in this latest in the now long-running Syphon Filter series. Seems the Agency just can't get enough of your services.

This time you are on Sony's brilliant PSP.

With a storyline any Japanese player would delight in, there are plenty of twists and turns and not too many blind alleys, so it flows nicely.

If you have played the Tomb Raider games you have a good idea what to do here - the character goes nicely translucent so you can see a little better when you need to clamber onto something. And the aiming is a treat - not too hard not too easy.

Leaning, ducking, hiding - it's amazing how many controls they are configure into the PSP.

There is a danger meter, so you can judge how close you are about to be discovered which is handy with such a small screen. You get one too to ensure a hit every time, so long as you are patient and careful enough.

This is a fun and yet slightly frustrating game at times - the learning curve is not too tough, and before long, you will start to get the hang of all the moves available to you.

Now get out there and save the world. Again.
