Futureheads are coming

CHINNERY'S have pulled out all the stops again to book the Futureheads for a live show.
The band, best known for their cover of Kate Bush classic Hounds of Love, come to the Marine Parade venue on Friday, May 30. Tickets are £11 and bound to sell out fast.
Before that date, you can check out the electro girls of Robots in Disguise, who have been transforming themselves into TV stars on popular cult comedy The Mighty Boosh.
They take to the stage on Sunday, May 18. Tickets are £9.

THE FAMILY of a motorcyclist killed after a horror crash on the A13 have paid a moving tribute to his “warm” and “loving” nature. Richard Amos, 47, from Benfleet, died from his injuries after crashing on the London-bound carriageway near Fobbing on Monday, June 30. Pedestrian Daniel Missons, 44, from Dickens Avenue, Tilbury, was killed at the scene.
