Students, mums and businesses are being encouraged to enter a competition to find a super achiever of the year.

Run by Pitman Training, which has branches across Essex, the Super Achievers 2014 awards aim to find those who have fought against the odds to achieve over and above the norm.

The organisation hopes the entrants can inspire the British workforce to strive for more.

Categories include Working Mum of the Year, Young Achiever, PA of the Year and Business Newcomer of the Year. Judges include Laura Schwartz, an ex-White House director of events and businesswoman Kate Hardcastle.

Bahman Jamshidnejad, from Pitman Training, said: “We’ve got a fantastic panel of successful individuals supporting these awards and they are excited about finding talent across the UK. We want to discover and recognise the hard workers that are helping to keep British businesses thriving and are passionate to illustrate that many of these are at work in Essex.”

Nominations can be made until January 31 at www.pitmansuperachievers.com
