A vacancy  has arisen in the HR department of Newsquest Essex, the parent company of this newspaper.

The vacancy is for a sales training and development manager.

The successful candidate will be expected to design and deliver the human resource development programme across all disciplines of Newsquest Essex’s business.

A fundamental part of this role is the sales training programme for the advertising teams. A background in sales training would therefore definitely be an advantage.

Previous HR knowledge is desirable, but not essential.

Anyone performing this role needs to be confident at delivering inspiring presentations and training workshops that generate and stimulate creative and constructive discussion.

A high level of organisational skills and flexibility is needed.

This requires excellent communication skills that can help foster and grow talent within the organisation.

A high level of proficiency in all elements of training is required, including TNA, design, delivery, administration and evaluation.

The role is full-time and covers the entire Essex region, so regular travel should be expected. The salary is up to £25,000, dependent upon experience.
