THERE is going to be a whole host of artwork to feast your peepers on thanks to the 40 artists who are taking part in the Spring Art Exhibition this weekend.

They all belong to the Westwood Art Group, an organisation who formed in 1977, who meet weekly "to paint in company in a congenial atmosphere" they say, producing paintings in a variety of styles using pastels, oils, watercolours and pencil.

The exhibition - which is an annual event - is taking place at Hadleigh Old Fire Station, High Street, Hadleigh, showing 200 paintings in all mediums.

They are said to be for sale "at affordable prices".

Also promised is a children’s painting corner, plus tea and cakes.

Parking and entry is free with wheelchair access available.

The exhibition is open on Saturday April 23 from 9.30am to 5pm and Sunday April 24 from 10am to 2pm.
