Black Spring Rising (BSR) based in Essex UK, are signed to American Independent Label Cauldron Soundwerx Productions.   

Over its first two years the band have seen a number of frustrating line up changes, but the founder members Trish Black and Jan Black have remained resolute and steadfast. Lisa Steadman joined in the summer of 2010 and with her unique accent of sound cemented the bands powerful rhythmic foundation.  

BLACK SPRING RISING draw from many genres and styles of music including rock, punk, classical, country, traditional Japanese, J Rock and dance to create their original female -  fuelled irresistible musical vibration.

Anthemic and Infectious, Their Debut Album "Black Spring Rising" pulsates with throbbing bass lines, driving, thundering tribal rhythms, and majestic melodies. Sonorous, compelling and commanding, their powerful resonant sound will drive its way into the cynical heart of Rock and kick it's corporate ass.
