Members of Southend’S Music Man project performed at the London Palladium Theatre.
Organised by Southend Mencap, the Music Man Project provides opportunities to children and adults with learning disabilities across Southend and Essex.
Supporter Sir David Amess, MP for Southend West, said: “It was a huge privilege to be present alongside the Countess of Wessex and the chairman of the Royal Mencap Society, Derek Lewis, at the sell out concert at the London Palladium.
“Whilst it was an enormous honour for the show to take place at the iconic theatre, it really was the case that the Palladium had never seen anything quite like the Music Man Project. I must congratulate all those who helped bring this together.”
