THE Brand New Heavies and Incognito are two of the giant live acts which soul fans can look forward to seeing in May, when the South East Soul Festival comes to Garon Park in Southend.

Hosted by famous radio DJ and presenter Trevor Nelson, the festival promises to also so far include names such as urban music ambassador radio DJ Ronnie Herel, radio DJ Norman Jay who was awarded an MBE in 2002 for his servies to music, as well one of the UK’s biggest Soul and RnB DJ’s, radio presenters and journalists, DJ Bigger.

More acts and DJs are to be confirmed.

Early bird tickets are on sale now, said to be "selling fast", for £21 or £50 for a Golden Circle Ticket which guarantees you absolute front of stage.

The festival in Eastern Avenue, takes place on Saturday May 26, from 2pm until 11:30pm, with last entries allowed at 9:30pm.
