Viewers were glued to their TV screens on Wednesday night as every slice and stitch of Chantelle Houghton’s breast implant removal was aired in a new series of Katie Piper’s Bodyshockers.

Chantelle, 32, underwent the grisly surgery to reduce her FF cup chest to her original B cup and allowed the Channel 4 cameras to follow her into the operating theatre.

Chantelle, who found fame on Celebrity Big Brother in 2006 and had a whirlwind marriage to Ordinary Boy’s singer Sam Preston, told Katie she boosted her chest after winning the show because “every celebrity on the planet at that time was having a boob job – Katie Price, Victoria Beckham – if you didn’t have a boob job at that time you were the odd one out.”

But the mum-of-one said they soon made her “feel sick” and she struggled to get out of bed from the pain the heavy implants, which weighed two kilos, caused.

Chantelle opted to have surgery last July but viewers have only just been treated to the footage – and many couldn’t handle the scenes of surgery.

One particularly grusesome moment involved the surgeon, Mark Ho-Asjoe, having to remove her nipples in order to reposition them on her new breasts.

Before going into surgery, Chantelle had sobbed that she was scared of not waking up but when she showed off the results, she looked ecstatic.

“It has had a massive change on my confidence,” she told Katie.

“The only time I will ever be in hospital now is she health reasons, I will never go under the knife for vanity ever again,” she vowed.

And people thought her new body looked great.

She’s not the first star to go back on their decision to have a boob job, with Katie Price, Victoria Beckham and Danielle Lloyd among the celebs to regret going under the knife.
