Coleen Rooney has revealed that eating her own placenta helped her to get back in shape after having her baby.
The Wag had her placenta turned into pills after she and footballer husband Wayne welcomed their third son, Kit, earlier this year, and said they “energised” her.
She told the Mirror: “I felt full of very positive energy and it helped with a number of pregnancy symptoms such as the produce of milk. I slept really well and they helped to stabilise my weight after having Kit.
“Everyone has a different reaction but in my case they were great.”
Coleen – who is also mum to Kai, six, and Klay, three – isn’t the first celeb to use her placenta to bounce back from birth, with January Jones and Kim and Kourtney Kardashian all being fans of the process.
Kourtney posted a picture of her pills on Instagram after having her son Reign, saying: “Yummy…PLACENTA pills! No joke…I will be sad when my placenta pills run out. They are life changing! #benefits #lookitup.”
Kim had the tablets made after welcoming both of her children and later said: “Every time I take a pill, I feel a surge of energy and feel really healthy and good. I totally recommend it for anyone considering it!”
