JUST when you thought your raving days were over now you've got sprogs, along comes Big Fish Little Fish, a rave which wants you to bring your nipper along to party... in fact, if your kid's not down, you're not coming in.

That right, this is a party strictly for adults who want to throw shapes on the dancefloor with their young ones, so no unaccompanied grown ups are allowed.

This award-winning family fun day takes place on Sunday January 21 at 2pm at the Cliffs Pavilion in Station Road, Southend, and promises to be full of world class DJs (Dave Trax - Moving Shadow is the DJ for the event in question), bubbles, glowsticks, glitter, crafts, play, club visuals (no strobes), giant ballons, face painting, a "legendary parachute dance", licensed bar (no glass is allowed in the event) and so on.

The event is themed - this one being Intergalactic Planetary - and fancy dress is encouraged.

Tickets and further information is available from southendtheatres.org.uk and are £11 for adults or £8 for children.

Pre-walking infants get in free.
