ENJOY a night of nostalgia as That’ll Be The Day rocks into the Cliffs Pavilion, on Saturday The rock ’n’ roll variety show, now in its 24th year on the road, celebrates the music of four decades that shaped popular culture. More than 100 classic hits from the Fifties right through to the Nineties are mixed with comedy sketches to provide an evening of diverse entertainment.
This year’s That’ll Be The Day promises a new look with fresh sets, lighting and costumes, and creator and director Trevor Payne has also re-written parts of the show.
“With so many fans coming to see the show regularly, we wanted to give them something different. It feels like a completely different show,” he says.
Doors at the venue, in Station Road, Westcliff, open at 8pm.
