Savour off-the-cuff humour

THEY’RE known for their lightning wit, silly situations and all round funniness, and Quirkish Delight are back in the Dixon Studio, at Westcliff’s Palace Theatre, for improvised merriment next week.

The Southend comedy troupe have a loyal cult following and will be entertaining their audience with an evening of off-the-cuff hilarity.

With no scripts, and certainly no dignity, the group, made up of Sarah Mayhew, Simon Blackman, John Oakes, Elsa Moore, Jeremy Battersby and Stevie Rae, will take their cue from the audience.

A series of games fitted around audience suggestions and input will let the group improvise their way into hilarious situations with more than a dash of the the absurd.

Quirkish Delight are in the Dixon Studio, Palace Theatre, London Road, Westcliff, Friday, June 15, at 8pm. Tickets are £8. 01702 351135
