Homegrown talent is certainly riding high on XFactor this year! A group of south Essex girls who make up the band Beau Road also wowed the judges enough to get past the brutal boot camp stage and will now be going onto the next round - the Six Chair Challenge!

The band - made up of Beth, Cally, Eden, Taylor and Bethany - are from Thurrock, Thundersley, Canvey Island, Pitsea and Althorne.

Eden, 23, from Thundersley is a familiar and well-renowned face and name on the local music scene, who has played at many best-known music venues and as part of credible collaborations thanks to her stunning voice.

She said: "We are through to Six Chair Challenge, and we cannot wait! We have had the most amazing time so far. "Performing at Wembley SSE Arena has definitely been the most surreal experience for us, and we feel so lucky that we get to do it all again at The Six Chair Challenge.

"Although The X Factor is challenging, we are rehearsing constantly as it really has been a dream come true to perform to thousands.

"The good thing is that we all live local to each other, so it's easy for us to rehearse and spend time together.

"Now that Six Chair is next for us, we are going to work extremely hard and hopefully our hard work pays off!

"If we aren't successful and don't get through to the judges' houses, we will still sing together. We don't want to give up on our dream as we enjoy every minute of rehearsing and performing as a group and we wouldn't do it without any one of us."

The XFactor: Boot Camp returns next Saturday, October 7, at 8pm on ITV!
