A massive Rudolph is set to be the star of the Royal Shopping Centre’s first day of Christmas festivities next week.
The huge structure will be in situ at the Southend shopping centre from Wednesday, November 15 and marks the start of more than a month of magical events that will get everyone in a festive mood.
As part of Saturday November 18’s ‘Big Switch On’ - when Southend’s Christmas lights are illuminated for the first time - The Royals is hosting BBC Essex between 2pm and 8pm in Royals Square.
Presenters from the station will be hosting all manner of fun and games and coordinating music to accompany the awe-inspiring firework display that will take place on the seafront at 7.30pm.
Inside The Royals itself there will be a sack-load of free entertainment.
