SOUTH and north Essex’s music fraternity will meet this Saturday, when musicians from all over the county get together to put on the Cosmic Puffindoors Alldayer.

The event - which is a spin-off of the usual annual Cosmic Puffin outdoor festival held annually on Mersey Island - was put on because there isn't one planned for 2018. It will be taking place at the Three Wise Monkey's in High Street, Colchester.

There will be 12 hours of music across two stages, from some of the best acts who have played over ten years of Cosmic Puffin, "plus a couple you may never had heard of" promises one of the organisers.

One of these will be Southend's Chris Davison, award-winning singer-songwriter and bassist in folk-punk outfit, Deferred Sucess (misspelling intentional), with fellow local acts Kristina Stazaker; Angel and the Melodyhorns; Doozer McDooze and Ren Stedman.

Tickets are £12 online at musicglue.com/cosmic-puffindoors or £15 on the door.

Paper tickets available at Three Wise Monkeys behind the bar and FlagIt. Flag sales on Osborne Street opposite Gala Bingo.

All profits raised go to Bliss, a children's charity which has been previously supported by Cosmic Puffin.

The line up also includes Ghosts Of Men; The Sweetchunks Band; Pet Needs; Leslie George Carter (ex Carter USM); Rad Pitt; Hot Tramp; The Devil's Prefects; The Thinking Men; Philip Marino and B-Sydes.
