TOMORROW night (Thursday Nov 16) sees two rock and indie bands take to the stage of Hippy Joe's Live and Unsigned gig in Basildon.

Gin Logic, an alternative rock and heavy blues four piece will play alongside Different People, a rock and indie four piece from Grays.

Leif, Aaron, Gary and Gavin formed Gin Logic in early 2017 with a view to creating a sound that was "familiar yet different to anything else out there" coming from a plethora of different influences, ranging from Delta blues, through to grunge and metal.

They say this has resulted in developing a sound that is "as equally funky and rhythmic as it is satisfyingly hard edged".

Different People consist of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Matt Whitta, lead guitarist Lee Sambridge, bassist Alissa Owen and drummer David Nolan.

The band have been busy making a name for themselves on the Essex and London live circuit with their high energy live sets.

They supported Scouting For Girls in November 2014 and since then have continued to gig on a regular basis.

The band have now various releases recorded and produced with Backwater Channel Records' Barry Banks.

?The gig takes place at the Edge bar, High Pavement, Basildon, from 8pm.

Admission is free.
