INTRODUCE a bit of light and laughter into your winter evenings by joining the intimate audiences of the Little Smash Comedy Club.

There are a whole heap of these club nights, led by comedian Ross McGrane, taking place in and around Southend, from February right up until December.

Coming up next month are Little Smash Comedy at the Blue Boar, Victoria, Avenue, Southend, on Friday February 2; LSC at the Alex, Alexandra Street, Southend, on Sunday February 4; LSM at the Lemon Witch Cafe in Queen's Road, Southend, on Tuesday February 6; LSC at Peggy Sue's, London Road, Leigh on Wednesday February 7 and at the Temple Cafe opposite Chalkwell Park, Westcliff, on Sunday February 25.

A "a cavalcade of comedic talent from the UK and international circuits" is always promised.

It's best to keep a keen eye on facebook.com/littlesmashcomedy for more details and booking.

Some shows are free to get in, with a 'pay what you like' policy on exit, others are ticketed.

As many of these venues are small, seating is limited, so it is good for punters to bear in mind its available of a 'first come first served' basis.
