ROY Mette is a bit of a face on the the blues and pub circuit, as many will know.

Next week - Friday April 6 - his face, along with those of the Roy Mette Band, will be entertaining the audience of the Touchline live music club in Hockley.

The three piece blues-rock power trio are a great combination, said to allow Roy to "demonstrate his ample electric guitar skills and display his influences including, Clapton, Hendrix and especially Rory Gallagher".

Expect Roy's set to include original numbers and a selection of Rory’s songs performed with the intention of capturing the essence of the man "not note for note copies".

Roy is featured on guitar and vocals with Andy Bostock taking the bass guitar duties and David George Allen looking after the drums.

Having collaborated with many musicians over the years, Roy has four band albums available for purchase; Plugged, The Silver Bullet Kid, Three and Five Live and the latest, Vibralism.

Tickets are £10 available on the door of the club based at the Hockley Community Centre, Westminster Drive, Hockley.

The show starts at 8pm until 11:30pm.
