- PCSO Karen Simpson
I joined neighbourhood police team in October 2006. Before becoming a Police Community Support Officer I completed 10 years as a Special Constable. I am 100% dedicated to my ward and look foreward to speaking with you.
- PCSO Marie Knowlden
I have been employed by Essex Police for more than 20 years now in various roles. I have been a PCSO for the past two and a half years and enjoy the diversity of the role. I really like working within our schools and building a good relationship with the community.
- PCSO Kathy Laycock
I joined Essex Police in 2001, and now hold the role of Police Community Support Officer for the Basildon area. I have strong community ties to Basildon, and have acquired good local knowledge due to the years I have worked in the area. During my patrols I often meet people I went to school with, worked with, or my family knew, and I believe this gives me a better and more personal understanding of local issues. I am fully committed to getting out into the community to listen to concerns of the residents, and will do my upmost to resolve problems which have been raised.
- PCSO Leanne Evans
I have worked as a Police Community Support Officer within Essex Police, covering the Basildon area since 2005. I am extremely pleased to be a part of a Neighbourhood Policing Team who are dedicated in dealing with local community issues. My role enables me to engage with the public and other partner agencies to discuss problems and concerns which are important to all, and contribute to making the area a more pleasent and safer environment.
