Vange neighbourhood policing team

Sgt Dan McHugh

I am Acting Sergeant Dan McHugh and I am your Neighbourhood Sergeant (NS) for Vange. I have been an officer with Essex Police for 4 1/2 years. During this time I have worked on a response shift and a dedicated burglary and drugs team before moving to this role in April 2009. My aim is to act on the issues raised by the residents that matter most to them.

Pc Andrew Heard

I am the Neighbourhood Constable (NC) for Vange, and I am based at Pitsea Police Station. I have been in this role for two years. I have held the rank of constable for four years and prior to this I was a PCSO. I will crack down on all types of anti-social behaviour and robustly target our known burglary offenders across the neighbourhood.

PCSO Bernie Flynn

I have been a PCSO for more than three and a half years and cover the 3/4 estate and Sunnedon area of Vange. I work closely with partnership agencies to resolve issues suffered by residents.

PCSO Helen Damiano

I am Helen Damiano and I am a PCSO on Vange. I cover the 3/4 estate and the Sunnedon area of Vange. I have worked on this area for over 3 years. My aim is to engage with the community and make the area a better place to live.

PCSO Sandra Gladman

I have worked in Essex Police for more than seven years and have been a PCSO in Vange for nearly three years. I cover the Barstable estate to Luncies Road area of Vange. Along with my regular duties I also work closely with the sheltered housing schemes in my area.

PCSO Dean Chesterman

I am Dean Chesterman and I am one of your PCSO's for Vange. I have been a member of Essex Police for 15 months. My beat covers the surrounding areas of Luncies Road, the Riverview Centre and Sandon Road. My main aim for the community is to improve youth facilities in Luncies Park and the green area in Stagden Cross.

PCSO Jacqueline Jones

I am a PCSO on Vange and cover the whole area. I aim to help people of this community, by being helpful, visible and supportive to your needs. Please feel free to approach me whenever you see me walking the area.
