LOVE and music must reign supreme — that is the message from rock band Super Monster Destroyer, who are putting on a rock explosion tonight in Southend for the first time in a decade (7pm).
Joining them are homegrown rock faves For We Are Many and Hobo, all taking to the stage of the Railway Hotel. The night — Super Monster Destroyer Love Explosion — is aiming to “send a message to all those who darken the door of humanity” in times of inhumanity and evil, with the force of music.
Sam McDonagh, Hobo guitarist, said: “We are looking forward to this gig as we have had a break for a while due to family commitments and Super Monster Destroyer are friends of ours and have not gigged for 10 years.”
Tickets are available on the door, upstairs at the pub in Clifftown Road, Southend.
Love-themed costumes and props are “not compulsory but significantly encouraged”.
