GET ready for a jam packed week of music, comedy, art, craft and entertainment.

There will truly be something for everyone at this year’s Noise Arts Festival, which gets underway on Monday, October 29 and runs through to Sunday, November 4.

It is only the second time the event has been held, but there is plenty in store during half term week according to organisers, the Beacon, which is part of Thundersley Congregational Church.

From messy play sessions to flower arranging and storytelling, people of all ages will find something to interest them at venues throughout Thundersley.

Richard Keeler, who is a member of the organising team, said the theme for this year’s festival is “celebrate light”.

He said: “I’m a bit worried about the weather as a few events are weather dependent, but we’re keen to get on with it now, we’ve been thinking about it for so long and it’s exciting to do it so we’re looking forward to it.

“We’ve upped the anti this year and have double the amount of events that we had last year. We wanted to do more family events this year as it’s half term so people can go and do things together.

“We’ve been encouraged by the way different organisations have got involved with support from schools, shops and businesses.”
