Images released after thefts from BP in Westcliff

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they would like to speak to in connection with multiple thefts in Westcliff.

Between Friday October 12 and Friday October 19, 2012, at BP Service Station, London Road, Westcliff, a man entered the store on several separate occasions and stole food items from the display without making any attempt to pay.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Pc Joanne Andrews at the Operation Julep team at Leigh Police Station on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

This is my local; 'shop' and it happens all the time, Ive seen a few people load up a basket with M&S goodies and then simply run out, if I was the store I'd be thinking of some system to stop it happening so much.
